1974 Honda QA50K2 Mini Trail Bike 49cc engine

Description

1974 Honda Model QA50K2 Mini Trail Bike.  Bike was stored in a basement for over 30 years.  I just started to inspect and do minimal work just to see if I could get any life out of the bike.  Drained the oil and put quart of new oil in before I started rotating the engine.  Spark plug connection was broke, so I installed a new plug fitting on the end of the wire and cleaned the plug.  Filed and adjusted the points, and I have a spark but it is somewhat random.  Pulled the carb, discovered missing the throttle part.  Throttle cable is broke and needs replaced.  I put some gas down the intake but I have yet to get the engine to fire once.
Aired up tires and they seem to hold air good.  Looks like the foot pegs and kick stand are broke off/missing.  Fuel valve handle is broke off, but I have a good replacement fuel valve.
By the frame and engine serial numbers, this is a 1974 K2.  After some research, these little bikes are pretty simple and you can get just about any replacement part for them you want.  Owners manual and information on the bikes can be easily found on the web.  Looks like the QA models were built from 1970 to 1975.  Decided I have enough other projects and I don't want to invest the money in this little bike (I'm 6'4", so not like I'll use it much).  It's a neat little bike and needs to go to a home where it will be appreciated, restored and enjoyed.
