1982 Honda Motorcycle Print AdOfficial Laminated Proof

1 spread ad (slightly smaller than 11” x 17”)
This is a style of ad called a “race-win” which all the motorcycle makers ran when they won a significant race.
This advertisement is different from others you might see being offered. Instead of being cut-out from vintage magazines, these are the press proofs provided directly to the advertising agency who created the ads. They are one-sided and on heavier glossy paper.
These particular examples have been laminated with a plastic cover and a minimal margin in black like a picture frame. This keeps them pristine forever, but it does slightly “gray” them out. So it may be a positive or a negative depending on what you want them for.
These ads were all part of my portfolio as a professional advertising copywriter. I wrote them all and they were laminated because that’s how we showed our work back in the day. Today no one bothers and digital copies are the norm.
