    Description

    Period WWII Japanese peaked visor hat for service uniform of Imperial Japanese Army Type 5 during WWII.
    This example is made to so-call "saddle shape" which is the rarest varient only for officers from high profile.
    This hat has a nice sddle shape off of the "mannequin" witch is not included in the Auction.
    This hat has moth issues with the RED side trim, and piping, as photographed.
    Has a hole at rear seam of hat, as photographed.
    Overall the hat seams stable with stitching and holds its shape with general aging over time.
    Hat could be restored.
